Description:

288 pp. Color frontispiece portrait of the author by Amherst Villiers. Original vellum-backed black cloth, spine stamped and lettered in gilt, white ski track design on front cover, top edge gilt. No. 105 of 250 copies.

Signed by Ian Fleming on the limitation page. The only title in the Bond series issued as a signed, limited edition. Also, the first James Bond title published after the film series began. This, of course, is the basis for the 1969 film, this (and only) time starring George Lazenby as 007. The rare glassine jacket not present.

Condition

Hint of toning to top edge of spine; booksellers' pencil notes visibly erased from front free endpaper, near fine.
