Distributed for free to garner support for John Sinclair who was on the verge of receiving a 10 year sentence for possessing two joints of marijuana. included in the text are the legal briefs prepared by his lawyers for his defense, testimony on Sinclair's behalf by Joel Fort and others, and Sinclair's "The Poem for Warner Stringfellow." Sinclair is an important counterculture figure having been a marijuana activist, manager of the MC5, founder of the Artists' Workshop Press, and leader of the White Panther Party.
