With preliminary leaves of various colors and differing widths. 26x18.5 cm (10x7"), hand-bound in stiff pictorial wrappers with cork-lined front cover, attached jacket with tissue sheet tipped-on (as issued), and pictorial flap over fore-edge around from rear; this copy housed in custom black cloth drop-back box with cover and spine labels. One of 777 copies on different colored and sized hand-printed paper. First Edition.
Signed and inscribed by Charles Bukowski in silver ink on the front free endpaper: "Each man believes he is an immortal poet, and each man is correct. Charles Bukowski, 12-16-63." Accompanying the inscription is a drawing of a flower and a knife. Scarce and desirable copy with an inscription and drawing accompanying the signature.
