(New York/Hawaii, 1905 - 1993) Oil on canvas excellent view of country home with African American figures. Very nicely rendered and colorful example. The work depicting chickens and home with clothes hanging in sun to dry with the sky having nice light or colors in the clouds. Signed lower left and ramed in a gilded frame. Titled on verso Arkansas. The lower right hand corner has some loss to the surface as seen in photograph, this is conservable, otherwise the work is in good condition.
