54 x 77cm (framed) The painting is executed in oil on a wooden panel support. The panel is formed from two boards in vertical alignment which are in a good condition overall and in plane. The paint layers are thinly applied in many areas and the vertical woodgrain of the panel is evident in the texture. The paint layers are stable overall. The varnish is clear, even and semi-matte. There are areas of overpaint across the surface which are finely applied and well matched to the original. There is a light layer of surface dirt present.
