Ingrid Bergman (1915-1982) Swedish actress and Joan Crawford (1905-1977) Actress. Bergman was ultimately nominated for seven Academy Awards, winning for Gaslight, Anastasia and Murder on the Orient Express. Crawford’s filmography spans a 45-year period from 1925 to 1970 and includes over seventy films. 9” x 11 ¼” sheet signed by both actresses: “To Mr Rothafele – My Sincere Thanks – Ingrid Bergman 1957” and “and also Joan Crawford.” A note on the reverse indicates this is from “A new, different “Roxy’s Gang – the 1956 version…Anolyn Arden.” The ink did not adher well to the “oan” of Crawford’s signature.
