Description
possibly Qijia culture, circa 2000-1100 BCE, mottled pale green jade with green and black inclusions throughout, 10-1/ 8 in. diameter; together with mottled green, russet, and black jade disc, 13 in. diameter; with metal stands, dimensions on stands 11-1/8 x 10-1/ 8 x 2-1/2 in. and 14-1/2 x 13 x 2-1/2 in. [Asian Ceramics]
Note: Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity from Gu Fang, Senior Fellow of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), dated 2/1/11 attributing the smaller disc to the Qijia culture.
