Syria or Persia, Ca. 14th century AD A nicely shaped glazed pottery imitating Ming Dynasty porcelain bowl resting upon a ring base. The interior is embellished with blue-painted bands of vegetal and abstract motifs around the central roundel with a leafy tendril design. Size: L:55mm / W:140mm ; 160g Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1980s.
