BIOGRAPHY:
Eduardo Forlenza was an Italian artist of the Neapolitan school, born in Torre del Greco, (Naples) in the second half of the 19th century. Forlenza was a pupil of Irolli, and enjoyed considerable success for his portraits, especially female figures. He mainly portrayed commoners and fishermen, although he also created landscapes and genre scenes, drawing inspiration, in particular, from Vincenzo Irolli. In Naples he worked with Tito Pelliccioli and Luca postiglione and participated in the 1913 Florence Fine Arts Exhibition and in the Promoters of Fine Arts from 1912 to 1917.
