22.5 h × 76 w × 50 d in (57 × 193 × 127 cm)
The present table features one of Nakashima's earliest Minguren II bases.
Table features an impressive single slab top with expressive figured grain, sap grain and burl details, natural seam separations joined with five rosewood butterflies, and two free edges. Signed with client name to underside 'Lifschutz'. Sold with a digital copy of the original order card.
Provenance: Acquired directly from the artist by Dr. Seymour and Mrs. Phyllis Lifschutz | Thence by descent to their nephew, Alex Cooper | Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Towson, Fine and Decorative Art Gallery Sale, 16 June 2018, Lot 1139 | Private Collection
