Description

OHLSSON & RICE (O & R) MODEL 19 LATE 1940'S AIRPLANE ENGINES, LOT OF THREE, each embossed "19" in a circle on the cylinder case bypass, cylinder fins painted black, two examples with colorless plastic fuel tanks, each with serial number on a metal plate to the back of crankcase, including "13043" with a brass intake and "016790", and remaining example with an attached metal accessory tank; each fitted with a spark plug, including two Champion and an AC example. Each example's crankshaft turns freely and each is untested for functionality. SN 016790 example fitted in original corrugated box with print on each side, includes manufacturer's instructions and registration card with corresponding serial number. 1946 to 1948. 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" overall. Metal tank example 4 1/2" long.
Provenance: From the collection of Fred Kaiser, East Sandwich, MA.

Very good overall condition, expected wear and minute imperfections, possible missing components and repairs.
