Light time staining / fading to paper. Some thin mat burn is present around the margins of the paper. Two darks spots of possible foxing are present – one to bottom right quadrant and the other is located center, left. The bottom right corner bears a slight fold, and the bottom left corner is creased. There is an area of some lightening to the paper and discoloration located at both the top right and top left corner. These contained areas of discoloration are likely a result of the old adhesion present verso. Work is affixed to mount by small hinges of white tape – one to top right, near corner verso, and one to top left, near corner verso. Bears pencil inscription 'Femme Lisant' bottom left.
