A Chinese canton enameled basin, dating from the Republic period. Over a yellow background the inside has a landscape on the bottom with a bridge, water tree, house, and figures. The inner walls have three panels with landscapes, as does the turned down rim. Scrolling pink flower design throughout. Outside decoration of fruits and flowers against white background. Underside of rim and base turquoise glaze.
