Painted in polychrome enamels and gilt, the deity shown dressed in a loose flowing robe decorated with the accouterments of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, open at the front showing his corpulent belly, his treasure sack and fan suspended from a staff resting on his right shoulder, a handscroll in his left hand, inscribed on the underside [] [] [] Satsuma gama (Satsuma kiln)
