(Marvel / Fun Works, 1995) An impressive collection of (14) original paintings used in the Marvel Comics book, Spider-Man: The Legend Begins. Featuring pencils by Jeff Parker and paintings by renowned Disney artist Don "Ducky" Williams; each piece depicts a two-page spread in the book, with every interior page represented in this collection. Each painting has an image size of 11"x 20" on 13"x 22" heavy stock paper, as well as a tissue cover sheet with production notes and annotations. Any one of these pieces offer a wonderful glimpse into the production process on their own; yet, finding original art for a complete work, such as this, is exceedingly rare. The paintings are all in very fine condition with just light wear from handling and intended use. A copy of the finished book is also included.
