A PART SET OF BRASS DRAWING INSTRUMENTS, ENGLISH, EARLY 18TH CENTURY,
including a pair of single-handed double dividers with steel pointers, two smaller pairs of dividers, a large pair of wing-dividers with ornate wing nuts and engraved 0-20 arc, a smaller pair of wing-dividers, a three legged compass, a 9-inch radius sector engraved on both faces with linear and non-linear scales, an inking pen with tapering handle and ornate finial, together with other accessories, in modern walnut fitted case with sliding covers and ornate brass corner mounts and hook and eye catches,

An incomplete set as can be seen on the image for this lot.
There are no maker's marks or initials on any of the instruments and the overall condition is average as they have obviously been used over the years and the sector does have minor surface scratches.
The case is 20th century and one of the sliding covers is slightly warped meaning that in does not slide open easily and there are surface scratches to the outer surfaces. Average condition overall.
