Rosewood-Veneered Banjo Clock in the Late Classical Taste
second quarter 19th century, New England, with a silvered dial and unusual fret-carved solid wood side arms, the case lined with turned and carved trim, the base with an oval brass-lined window for viewing the pendulum, with an integral tower bracket.

Condition
In good condition. Clean. There is a small section of the ripple molding gone from the curl at the right side of the case . Also, the small brass door latch to the round dial door is broken off but present. Retains a very good, original surface and patina. Weight driven. Pendulum, iron weight and winding crank present.
