Artist: John Ogilby. Title/Subject: "The Road from Hereford to Leicester"; and "The Continuation of the Road from Chester to Cardiff com. Glamorgan." Size: Each 15in x 19in; 16 3/4in x 20 1/2in (frames). Year Created: c. 17th century. Medium/Ground: Engraved plates with hand coloring. Condition: Each with center crease; some of the coloring may be later touched up (?); both are very toned; the Chester to Cardiff map has the most condition issues, including areas of fading/staining, the other with marks from possible tape repair verso.
