Following a second-generation family tradition in the fabrication of objets d'art, Luis' studio specializes in the carving of ruby. The second hardest stone after diamond, few artists have managed to successfully work this mineral since it requires a very advanced technique for carving and polishing. His works are displayed in museums in the United States and Europe and are enjoyed by private collectors around the world.

Condition
Excellent overall condition. No chips or damage is noted at the present time. There are some surface rising fissures noted here and there which are natural and inherent in the hawk's eye quartz. These are not damage and do not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. A beautiful carving with great motion.
