Description

This is the fifth edition, published in 1934, of the book “American Indians-First Families of the Southwest.” It was published by the Fred Harvey Indian Department in Albuquerque, NM. The book was sold throughout Fred Harvey Hotels and Restaurants along the Santa Fe Railroad lines in the southwestern USA. Written by J.F. Huckel, 32 colored photographs and descriptions describe the lives of the Pueblo and Navajo Indians in the region. The pages of this book are in excellent condition. The cover has some frays along the edges, but is fully intact and in nice condition.
