DESCRIPTION: Framed antique Buddhist thangka depicting a thousand-armed, eleven-headed Deity in the straight legged standing posture atop a lotus throne. Figure has six prominent hands in front of his thousand arms: one in performing the boon-granting gesture and the others holding a wheel, meditation beads, a lotus, a bow, and a jewel. Figure is surrounded by other bodhisattvas, attendants, and wrathful deities and stands below a lama on his left and Gautama Buddha on his right.
