Description
IDEAL MINIE BALL MOLD AND JAMES DIXON & SONS POWDER FLASK, 20TH C., TWO PIECES Lot includes one Ideal (Middlefield, Conn.) minié ball mold. Diameter of mold is approximately 1/2" and the length is approximately 1 1/2". Mold is marked 'B907' and 575213. One leather-wrapped metal powder flask made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, England. Flask has a length of 8" and a width of 3 1/2". Also includes one lead ball. Provenance: Property of a Grand Rapids, MI private collector.
Condition
Some rubbing to the leather of the flask, otherwise good condition.
