Description
J. & E. Stevens Company. Cromwell, Ct. - 1880's. The "Patronize" bank uses brilliant engineering to put its action into effect. Place your penny in the blind man's spring-loaded hands. When you push the lever on the back of the bank, you can watch the dog advance towards the coin and close his mouth around it. The clever canine's mouth closes and opens because he dips in and out of a channel that allows his spring to function.
