This bird and flower painting is attributed to Bun Chu (Old Wade Giles spelling). It depicts a flock of myna birds gathered in a blossoming plum tree in spring. The old receipt is dated from 1961 and says that the painting is from the Ming dynasty. A copy of the old receipt will be included with the sale of this painting.
