Mark Hopkins (CO/GA, 20th/21st C), Sisters, Bronze, signed and numbered 15/750 on the back of the bottom elephant, depicting mother elephant with two babies on a shaped base.Mark Hopkins is considered one of the premier bronze sculptors in the United States. Hopkins’ sculpture varies greatly in subject and size, but his signature fluidity is consistent across his body of work. Hopkins established a bronze foundry, Mark Hopkins Sculpture, Inc. in northwest Georgia in 1988. His work is proudly displayed in homes and public spaces around the world.
