Franz Xaver Bergman (Austrian 1861-1936), circa 1900, large Vienna bronze in the Orientalist taste, modeled as an exotic dancing girl with a hinged skirt that lifts in the front, the whole resting on a stone base, with a faint mark to back, Nam Greb and amphora B. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Veronica Holmes, Atlanta, Georgia. Approx. h. 13.375" (on stand), w. 7", d. 5.5" (of base).
Condition
Faint wear to surface commensurate with scuffing and pleasing oxidation, possible bent feather at crown.
