Seven American, British, and Irish School untitled, 18th/19th/20th century, watercolor or oil on bone mainly Georgian era miniature portraits comprising three ladies, one in a turban labeled as Irish School, Lady Margaret (Eleanor Bigham) Lindsay (Irish 1764-1839) of Hollymount, Co. Mayo, daughter of the first earl of Lucan (Charles Bingham, Irish 1735-1799), one in white cap labeled as The Honorable Mrs. Barrington (Jane Guise d. August 8, 1807), wife of Bishop of Durham (Shute Barrington, English 1734-1826), and three gentleman, two in uniform, one labeled as Sir Robert Wigram, 2nd Baronet (British 1773-1843), and one signed "J.S. Davies", all framed under glass. Note: The artist Benjamin West, PRA (British-American 1738-1820) painted a posthumous portrait of Mrs. Jane Shutte in 1808, now housed in the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, Jacksonville, FL. Provenance: From the Private Collection Harry R. Greenblatt, Atlanta, Georgia.
