Englewood, NJ: The As Stable Publications, 1926. First edition, number 268 of 300 copies, Edward J. O'Brien's copy with note dated 1926 to first leaf. Original wrappers with illustration by Jean Cocteau. 8 x 5 inches (20 x 13 cm); 7 pp. Split to wrapper spine at extremities, lightly toned and a few scuffs to cover.
A scarce early Hemingway short play, collected the following year in Men Without Women. The pamphlet comes from the collection of Edward J. O'Brien, early Hemingway supporter and editor of the The Best Short Stories of 1923 which included Hemingway's first commercially published short story.
