Baker (Indiana - 1878-1943) was an American impressionist artist who primarily worked in Richmond, Indiana. Baker is amongst the well-known school of Brown County artists. Oil on canvas. With H. Lieber Company label on verso. Signed to the lower left, the landscape depicts a meandering stream with fall coloration of reds and oranges. Housed in a nice gilt frame.
