Description
Northwestern Europe, England, ca. 19th century CE. A lovely blown glass decanter with an indented center that creates a doughnut shape, with protruding flanges like petals along the sides. The underside bears a rough pontil mark and the narrow neck is capped by a pewter topper lid. Size: 5" L x 2" W x 5.75" H (12.7 cm x 5.1 cm x 14.6 cm)
Provenance: ex-private Bishop Family Trust collection, the Trust of the late Bill Bishop, a noted antiquarian with shops in Scottsdale, Arizona and Allenspark, Colorado, USA, acquired before 2010
