Japanese 19th Century Cast Iron "Bamboo Basket Weave" Tetsubin Teapot with iron "bamboo" loops holding the wrought iron handle inlaid with brocade pattern silver wire inlay; bronze cover with incised inscription underneath with a miniature swivel teahouse finial to top. Width from side to spout 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: From a private New York collection.
