30 Louis S Tiemann stamped Photos, probably on printing out paper, of Whaling Ships circa 1870's, 1 with additional stamp of H J Burrowes Co Portland, Maine: including the Greyhound of New Bedford, an Eagle from the Stern of Atlantis, Rousseau, Desdamona, Platina, James Drummond, Sunbeam Bark, Golden City, Bark Kathleen being re-painted, Merrill's Wharf, Heaving Down Josephine 1887, Ship James Arnold Hove Down, Bark Laconia, Swallow, Trade Wind, and views of unidentified ships, shipyards and wharf views; together with an original printing of the February 29, 1876 issue of Whalemen's Shipping List and Merchants' Transcript, New Bedford, Massachusetts, "A complete list of all American whaling vessels, with their latest reports" with woodblock advertisements. The photos in approximately 8 inch X 10 inch formats.

The photographs richly toned in sleeves in a 3 ring binder with light handling wear. The 1876 Whaling Transcript in a plastic folder with tears, flakes, handling wear and part of front page missing.
