Pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket on original bisque shoulder plate, very plump face, blue paperweight eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, original blonde mohair wig, kid body with kid-over-wooden lower legs, gusset-jointed hips, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows and knees, bisque forearms, original three-piece ecru silk costume with bands of teal silk trim accented with tiny pearl buttons, plus rick-rack trim and teal rosettes, antique blue velvet bonnet, antique black leather heeled boots with side gussets. Commentary: Very beautiful poupee with rare desposed neck articulation, circa 1860, finest quality pale bisque complexion, excellent original body and gown; lamb skin wig is glued tightly in place and has never been removed.
