Description
According to the Colt Factory letter, this gun was shipped September 24th, 1901 in a shipment of 2 guns. They were shipped to J.F. Schmelzer & Sons Arms Company in Kansas City, Missouri. The letter states that the grips are not listed. The action does not work in either single or double action. 2 piece pearl grip panels with a carved Mexican eagle motif on the right grip. The eagle and snake are finely carved. CONDITION: Gun retains 50% of the original nickel finish. Bore is dark with pitting in the lands and grooves. The grip panels have a small chip at the toe on both grips.
