Set of nine original vintage advertising poster for various art exhibitions and art prints. 1. British Art in the Twentieth Century The Modern Movement at the Royal Academy of Arts 15 January to 5 April 1987 featuring an artwork by a Vorticism artist Edward Wadsworth (1889-1949) titled North Sea, with glass float, propeller, sextant, and a shell. Good condition, creasing, staining. Country of issue: UK, designer: Edward Wadsworth , size (cm): 76x51, year of printing: 1987; 2. Frank Auerbach exhibition at Hayward Gallery 4 May – 2 July 1978, featuring a 1977 artwork titled Camden Theatre in the Rain in red, yellow and green hues. Frank Auerbach (b.1931) is a German-British figurativism painter. Fair condition, creasing, tears, small paper losses, pinholes, staining. The Departure of the Argonaut, a travelogue and wartime diary of a Greek-Italian writer Alberto Savinio (1891-1952), featuring illustrations by an Italian contemporary artist Francesco Clemente (b.1952) depicting a silhouette in the centre or a ring with a nautical theme around him represented by a crab, starfish, fish, and a shell, with text set over the black and white circle.
