Bugsy Siegel's Personally Owned 1920s Elgin Watch W/COA and Copy of Affidavit - This 1920s Elgin manually-wound wristwatch was personally owned by infamous American mobster, Bugsy Siegel. Siegel was a driving force behind the development of the Las Vegas Strip, and was not only influential within the Jewish Mob but also within the Italian-American Mafia and the largely Italian-Jewish National Crime Syndicate. Siegel was killed in 1947 when his mob partners were convinced he had skimmed from the Flamingo Hotel. This watch has a gold filled case, silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers and small seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and a leather bracelet, and is working. The watch includes a certificate of authenticity and a copy of an original notarized affidavit from James Smith, son of James Smith, who was the right hand man of Mickey Cohen and received this watch along with Mickey's other possessions upon his death in 1976.
