Kiyoshi Saito (1907 - 1922), color woodcut print entitled Koho-an Daitoku-ji in Kyoto, No. 6/200, signed lower left in white ink below red seal signature and titled, number and dated in pencil along base, on heavy Japanese paper with watermark -Kiyoshi Saito- on lower left hand side, also with paper label on back written self-carved self printed Kiyoshi Saito. Unframed but currently set between glass with clips, glass is damaged in one corner. The Koho-An is a sub-temple of the larger Daitoku-Ji temple located in Kyoto, Japan. It is not often opened to the public and is considered one of the most well preserved structures designed by 17th century tea ceremony master Kobori Enshu. Measures 23.75 x 18 inches.
