A magnificent necklace made by Cartier in 1955. Comprising rubies and diamonds set in platinum and 18K gold. Accompanied by AGL certificate #1109961, stating that there are 19 oval and cushion rubies of Burmese origin with no indication of heat. Total weight of rubies is approximately 20-22 carats. The diamond total weight is approximately 24.40-28.20 carats. Diamonds are equivalent to G-H colors, VVS-VS clarity. The weight breakdown is as follows (the weights are approximate): 93 circular-cut diamonds - 15-17 carats. 143 circular-cut diamonds - 3-4 carats. 20 baguette diamonds - 0.70-0.90 carats. 11 emerald-cut diamonds - 2-2.30 carats. 19 marquise diamonds - 3.70-40 carats. The length of the necklace is 15.75 ins (40 cm).
