A terracotta female fertility figure modelled in a seated position with arms outstretched before her body, large head with recessed circular eyes and pinched nose, applied hair and headdress detailing, ornamental collar with central stud worn at the neck, above exposed breasts; with remains of four pigment colours; from Mehar Garh, Baluchistan. 34.45 grams, 10.9 cm high (4 1/4 in.). From the Martin Schoyen (London) collection of 'The Indus Valley civilisation'.
