16th century A.D. or earlier. A group of three diabase maceheads with central circular hafting sockets and inked collector numbers; one with six star-like arms; one with four bulbous lobes and one comprising six rounded conical arms, each with old inked collection inventory numbers: 'R.0217.15 / NAZCA', 'R0277.15.00' and 'R.0054.15.00'. 644 grams total, 73-98 mm (2 7/8 - 3 7/8 in.). Private U.K. family collection formed in the early 1970s. The property of Mr and Mrs P. R. of East Sussex. Thence by descent to family members. [3, No Reserve]
