Nine late 19th century books on folklore and weird stories, c/o four books from a series titled Folk-Lore and Legends (New York and London, 1889), with the individual volumes being of the folklore of Ireland, Scotland, Germany and the East ("Oriental"), and five books from a series titled Weird Tit-Bits (New York and London, n.d. but c. 1890), with the individual volumes being of weird items from Scotland, Ireland, England, America and Germany. All volumes are nicely bound in dark green half-leather with gilt titles.
