2 Ha Li Tube Skirt Textiles, Early-Mid 20th C.Including 1 cotton tube skirt constructed of three strips of warp faced cloth with a variety of weft and warp inlay techniques including ikat, and one narrow strip of solid embroidery. Some other embroidered elements in silk thread. And 1 tube skirt constructed of four strips, three of tabby woven warp faced cotton with continuous supplementary warp inlay, both with added embroidered figures, and one of plain woven cotton with cotton embroidery. Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection. Size: 1) 36.5'' x 24.5'', (93 x 62 cm); 2) 26'' x 36'', (66 x 91 cm).
