Aymara Awayo Woman's Shawl Mantle, Sica Sica Region, Dept. of La Paz, Late 19th C. Natural dyes, alpaca. A typical womanâ€™s ceremonial mantle from the late 19th century made near the ancient town of Sica Sica which was an important colonial location with a Spanish Cathedral. Size: 3'9'' x 4'0'' (114 x 122 cm).
