Condition is consistent with age. Additional photos have been taken, but the signature area is very hard to photograph or to read, due to over paint and heavy varnish. There is loss to paint on top left, middle and right areas of painting. There is one area of in-painting to the top mid-right (or proper left) side in cloud. Additional areas that fluoresce under black light are the roof and spire of the church, as well as building in front of church, to the right. On the same structure, there are two spots of residue visible. The bottom right corner (or bottom proper left corner) has a rectangular object on board, possibly a piece of restoration tape. The paint is thin in some areas, primarily where horses and dog are located on middle bottom. This could be from an over cleaning or from the artist himself.
