9.625 h x 4.25 dia in (24 x 11 cm)
Vase features reticulations at the rim and incised geometric patterns below. Impressed manufacturer's mark, date and number to underside 'Flame mark XIII 2032D' with seconded mark.
Catalog Note: This is one of those Rookwood pieces that we attribute to William Hentschel for carving not in keeping with the shape number. Even the stray colors showing through make this an interesting example highly suggestive of Hentschel's artistry.

Condition
No crazing, chips, cracks or repairs. There are areas of thin glaze exposing red and green colors on the lower half of the vase which no doubt account for the X.
