A PAIR OF PALACE SIZED VIENNESE ENAMELED AND GILT BRONZE LIDDED URNS, LATE 19TH CENTURY, IN THE MANNER OF HERMANN BOHM. Of ovoid form fully enameled in the round with mythological and classical scenes below a corseted neck with scenes of young lovers and a satyr flanked with large finely sculpted and enameled figural handles of wingedcaryatids below a domed scenic enameled cover surmounted with a classical warrior, the whole further embellished with champlevé enamel bands, facial masks and cherubs raised on a pedestal base with bracketed grotesque facial form feet. Height 27.5 inches (70 cm).
