Born in Queens, New York, Mike Pearsall is known for his detailed watercolor and ink drawings of trains and railroad yards. After working as a commercial artist in New York, he moved to Seattle, Washington. He founded a publishing company, Pacific Fast Mail, which produced model railroads and information about trains.
