This is an original oil on Canvas painting of a Grand Child''s Birthday present. The painting is signed lower right corner but not easy to make out. It looks like H. J. ..........? The canvas measures 17X14 inches and came in a fine period gilt frame. There is one repaired tear in the lower center of the canvas and some cracking to the paint. Over all a very fine painting highly detailed. Guaranteed to be a mid to late 19th century work. Most likely British or American origins.
