BAXTER, Robert (American, b. 1930). A group of 4 watercolors on art paper. Circa 1980s-1990s. All these illustrations were done for an article entitled “The New Way” for World Book Childcraft International, about primitive people discovering the use of tools. All drawings have production onlays, marginal notes, notes on versos. 12 x 10” and smaller. Titles are: “Back from the Hunt,” “Building Huts,” “Making Flint Tools,” and “Two Cavemen.” A good group. Baxter has worked as an artist and taught art in both New York and France.
