Impressive ceremonial headdress made of a buckskin core lined with European cloth onto which is sewn elaborate ornamentation of eagle feathers attached with cotton, each feather ending with a strand of horsehairs held in place with vegetal resin. The headband is decorated with beadwork, metal bells, and tails of white ermines.
